PCR Nasopharyngeal/Anterior Nasal – COVID Tests
PCR are the most accurate of any COVID test out there. There is a slight difference between nasopharyngeal and anterior nasal. You’ve probably heard about or experienced for yourself the nasopharyngeal ones and are a little more uncomfortable than the other ones. These ones go a little deeper into the nasal cavity. The reason is because there’s typically a higher viral concentration back there. Anterior nasal tests are designed to gather the sample from the inner walls of the nostrils. Typically these cause less discomfort and are a little better for people who suffer from different conditions like chronic nosebleeds. Turnaround time to receive results is usually the next day but never more than 48 hours. Click here to order.
Antigen Nasopharyngeal – COVID Tests
Just like the PCR nasopharyngeal test, this test will be going a little deeper into the back of the nose. The main difference of this COVID test is that you’ll be able to get the results within 10-15 minutes of completing the test. Although antigen tests are less sensitive than PCR, it’s still a great indicator of if you have COVID or not. Click here to order.
Antigen Oropharyngeal (At-Home COVID Tests)
Like the antigen nasopharyngeal, the test results from antigen oropharyngeal will be complete within 10-15 minutes of completing it. The main difference of this COVID test is you will swab the back of your throat instead of your nose. Click here to order.
